  • New Entry System

    Fri 22 Jun 2018
We have a new entry system for Breakfast and After School club which should improve the security of the school grounds and the experience for the children. This means that, from Monday, all of the school gates will now open at 8.30am. They will be closed until this time so please do not arrive before this or allow your children to arrive before this. Please remember that parents are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children before the whistle in the morning and after the teachers release the children at the end of the day.
  • SPORTS DAY

    Wed 20 Jun 2018

Unfortunately the ground at Tothill field is too wet for us to complete sports day today. We will try again next Wednesday, 27th June. There are no hot dinners today. If you ordered a school packed lunch, one will still be provided. If your child was bringing their own packed lunch, then please do so.

We apologise for any inconvenience and let’s do a sun dance for next Wednesday. ☀️ 🌞

  • Hoax Email - Please Read

    Wed 28 Mar 2018

You may have seen on the Herald website that a threatening email has been sent to some Plymouth schools, including us. The local authority are coordinating communications with police and have advised that this a hoax. They have sent us this statement:

We are aware of a series of malicious communications to schools across the country. Police and schools take hoaxes extremely seriously. We have been in contact with the Police and the Local Authority and have continued to ensure the safety of our pupils and staff. We have policies and procedures in place to cover incidents of this nature. We understand that the Police will continue to investigate who is responsible.

  • Environmental Enforcement

    Fri 16 Mar 2018

Environmental enforcement officers will soon be patrolling outside Plymouth’s schools

From Monday 19 March, you may start to see extra environmental enforcement officers patrolling the streets outside Plymouth’s schools to help crackdown on things like dog fouling, littering, fly-posting and fly-tipping. Plymouth City Council has teamed up with specialist company Kingdom Services, to help ensure that Plymouth is a green and pleasant city.

The officers will be able to issue fixed penalty notices to offenders. Littering and fly-posting both carry an £80 penalty while dog fouling costs offenders £100. Meanwhile, fly-tipping is punishable by a £400 fine. Council leader Ian Bowyer said: "We know that people are fed up with issues like littering, dog fouling, and fly tipping, particularly around our schools, and by introducing extra enforcement officers we can now deal with these anti-social activities more effectively.”
