Wednesday 15th June
A fantastic 28 teams came to take part in the PSSP tag rugby event this year. We split the event into two categories being competitive and development festivals. The competitive aspect, gave the teams the chance to take part in non-scoring games against other schools, implementing the rules and putting it into game practice. The festival aspect gave the teams longer games, allowing the teacher the chance to coach from the side-lines. This was more of an introduction to the sport whilst putting it into practice against another team.
A lovely day of tag rugby, with every team showing the school games values, during the games and on the side- lines.
Thank you to the volunteer referees from the Devon and Cornwall police and the young leaders from City College, for all your support with games on the day.
