Youth Speaks 2023

We were very lucky to take part in the annual 'Youth Speaks' competition, organised by the Rotary Club. 

The competition aims to give children an experience of speaking on a public platform as a member of a team, allowing pupils to formulate opinions on topical subjects. 

The team, consisting of Matei, Anw and Liv from Year 5, presented information about their chosen topic of Fairtrade. 

Liv was the Chairperson and was responsible for overseeing the entire group's performance.

Matei was the speaker and presented a four-minute dialogue about the importance of Fairtrade.

Anw gave the vote of thanks and drew together all of the points Matei had made. 

The children represented our school well and we are proud of how hard they worked.
