Inclusion: SEND

High Quality Education

At Prince Rock Primary School, we believe in inspiring every child on their journey to become successful and resilient learners within a caring community. We believe that parents and carers are their child’s most important educator and we seek to engage and support the whole family, as together we help the child through their next steps in learning.

At Prince Rock Primary School, we embrace the fact that every child is different. We strive to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, has access to a broad and balanced curriculum. When necessary, learning is scaffolded to ensure the best possible progress is made and each individual child reaches their potential whilst at our school.

Our School

Miss Analise Cowan (Pastoral AHT) and Mrs Mia Watt (SENCo) work together to ensure the necessary provision is in place to support pupils with SEND. We follow a graduated approach to inclusion (SEND Code of Practice 0-25 years) and understand that early identification and regular reviews are essential to ensure appropriate support is in place.
