  • Equality and Diversity Day

    Fri 06 Feb 2015

We have booked Toby Gorniak (from the Street Factory) to run some
Equality and Diversity workshops for Key Stage 2 on Tuesday 10th
February. These sessions will challenge the children to think about
issues such as bullying and how we should treat everyone equally,
whatever the colour of their skin or their background. He will discuss
with the children what they should do if they ever feel they are
victims of bullying (S.T.O.P.). Toby is also a talented dancer and has
promised to impress us all with some backflips!

  • PRPS awarded International School Award!

    Fri 30 Jan 2015

Last year we were awarded the International School Award and this week
two of our pupils Holly C and Lucy were very lucky to visit the Lord Mayor
and other dignitaries from Plymouth City Council. There were 11 schools
there altogether and both myself and Miss Turton went along too! We had a
wonderful time, the children were very excited and we have a new flag that is
now displayed in school. The event was also featured in the Herald and there
is a link to it from our webpage.

  • Eco Warriors Need Your Help!

    Fri 30 Jan 2015

The Prince Rock Eco Warriors want to help the environment by making sure that harmful waste from batteries doesn't end up in landfill. Therefore, we have become a battery collection point for used batteries. So, if you have any used batteries please bring them to school and put in our collection box by the school office.

Thank you from the Eco Warriors!

  • Netball Competition

    Fri 23 Jan 2015

On Tuesday this week some of our netballers arrived at Marjon to play in the Plymouth Schools High 5 Netball tournament. Although we didn't win there were some super performances from all players— Robert, Majeeha, Charlotte, Keira, Ellie M, Sonny and Kyle A. Miss Owen was very proud of all of the players and the incredible team spirit they showed.

    Well done everyone!

Thank you for your patience today and we apologise for any inconvenience. But as you are aware

opening as usual on Monday. We look forward to welcoming your children back.
