At Prince Rock Primary School we are able to offer childcare provision both before and at the end of the school day. Both of the sessions are run by experienced qualified school staff to ensure that children receive quality child care. All staff are fully First Aid trained, hold a Food and Hygiene certificate, and have been CRB checked.

Our childcare provision is registered with Ofsted and on our last inspection Ofsted recognised that the quality and standards of childcare were outstanding.

Breakfast and After School Clubs

Should you need wrap-around childcare for your child, we also have a breakfast and after school club that runs before and after school each day. This can be booked via Arbor.

For further information about After School and Breakfast Club, please ask the school office.

Breakfast club runs from 7.30am to 8.50am and the cost is £4.00 per child. At 8.50 the children will be dropped to class for the start of the school day. Children will be given a breakfast during this time.

After School Club runs from 15.10 – 16.30 or 15.10 - 17.45 every day with a different price for each.

15.10 – 16.30 - £5.00 per child.

15.10 – 17.45 - £7.00 per child.

These need to be booked through the ‘Arbor App’. Click on Activities and then Clubs. You can then select either Breakfast or After School club. Register for this club (press a green button) and then follow the steps selecting dates etc. You will then be asked to pay for these bookings. Payment will confirm your child’s place in the club.

Both our Wide Awake Club and Prince Rock All Stars are very popular! If you would like to book a place for your child please use the Arbor App to do so. You could also come into school and speak to use about this. 

Wide Awake Club

Children can come to have their breakfast in a calm, warm and relaxed atmosphere. There is a choice of cereals or toast to eat and fruit juices to drink. We have a wide variety of games and toys for the children to explore. At the end of the childcare session the children all clean their teeth and are then seen safely to their classes to start their school day.

Prince Rock All Stars

This after school provision offers a variety of both toys and games. In addition we plan each weeks activities carefully to include a range of both physical and creative play. During the session, we also provide the children with a snack consisting of a selection of fruit, crackers with a different topping each week and a drink. The children also have the opportunity to do their homework during the session if they wish while staff are there to help them.
