English

Writing:

In English in the past few weeks we wrote our own instructions based on ‘How to Catch a Star’. Follow todays lesson to think about the ideas you planned yesterday to catch another animal or creature and how you could write these into your own instructions. Remember to think carefully about how to use adjectives to make your writing interesting.

There is also a writing activity all about adding y to the end of words if they have the sound of ‘ee’ for example happy, family, party. Can you think of sentences using each of the y ending words? Remember to think about your ideas before you write them and try to including adjectives and conjunctions.
Don’t forget everything you need to include in your writing!

Capital letters, finger spaces, adjectives, conjunctions and full stops.
