Level 2 Tri Golf & Super 6 Golf Events

On Friday, a group of children from KS2 took part in both the Level 2 Tri Golf event and Super 6 golf event at the Plymouth Golf centre. The children worked really hard at the event and showed off their teamwork skills.

Well done to our ‘Tri Golf’ team who came 2nd overall and will now represent Prince Rock at the Level 3 games in Exeter.

Below is an overview of the event from the organiser.

“On the 24th May, we held the Level 2 Super 6’s and Tri Golf event at Plymouth Golf Centre. 14 teams took part in the Super 6’s event and 11 teams for the Tri Golf. As these are Level 2 events, the top four teams from each competition get the chance to represent Plymouth at the Level 3 Devon Summer School Games in June.

Super 6's – Is similar to a normal round of golf however with plastic golf clubs and it is the lowest score that counts for this event! The super 6s teams also had a go on the driving range using proper golf clubs and golf balls.

Tri Golf – This consists of many different activities each scoring differently with a total score added at the end. The highest score that counts for this event.

Congratulations to the schools that have qualified for the Level 3 Devon Summer School Games, please see the schools highlighted in purple on the attachment. A massive thank you to the leaders from DHSG for doing a fantastic job!”
